Originally delivered new to South Australian Railways as Y class No 86 (see below) in 1888. sold in 1928 for use on construction of the Oonadatta-Alice Springs Railway. Sold to Bunnings Brothers 1942 and used at Nyamup. The locomotive was overhauled in 1958 and the original round top boiler was replaced with a SAR Yx Belpaire type boiler. Worked at Donnelly River Mill from 1960 to 1970
2-6-0 tender locomotive built by Beyer Peacock, Manchester.Of similar design to the WAGR 'G' class. Placed in service with South Australian Railways in 1886. The locomotive was sold in 1927 to TheW.A. Jarrah Forests Co Ltd and used at East Witchcliffe. The locomotive was out of use by 1957. The locomotive as preseved at Bassendean has the tender from WAGR G class No 67.
